VIPD Arrests 19-Year-Old in Connection with Two Separate Auto Theft Incidents

St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands – The Virgin Islands Police Department’s Criminal Investigation Bureau has arrested 19-year-old Ra’jahni Hendrickson in connection with two separate incidents of auto theft that occurred on June 14, 2026. He has been charged with Unauthorized Use of a vehicle, Possession of stolen property, and Grand Larceny.

The first incident took place at approximately 5:00 a.m., when Hendrickson, accompanied by two other individuals, stole a truck in the vicinity of 10th Street, Sugar Estate. The victim reported that upon returning, discovered the vehicle was missing. Surveillance footage later confirmed Hendrickson’s involvement in this incident. His bail has been set at $30,000.

On the same day, at around 8:00 a.m., Hendrickson, again accompanied by others, removed a dirt bike from the Havensight area. Video footage captured his actions during this occurrence as well. For this offense, his bail was set at $25,000. These cases remain under active investigation. The Virgin Islands Police Department is dedicated to safeguarding the community and protecting property.
