
St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands – On February 9, 2026, at about 1:26 p.m., a report was made regarding the sexual assault of a minor. A Detective from the Criminal Investigation Bureau, investigation into this matter disclosed that a female minor had been allegedly sexually assaulted by Ajahny Joseph.
During the investigation into this matter, Detectives learned that Joseph was no longer on the island of St. Croix.
On April 7, 2026, Detectives obtained an arrest warrant for Joseph that was signed by an Honorable Judge of the Superior Court. The warrant was subsequently entered into the National Crime Information Center (NCIC) database. Thereafter, Detectives were notified that Joseph was in custody in Orange County, Florida.
On July 3, 2026, Ajahny Joseph, 25 was extradited back to St. Croix, where he was booked. Bail was set at $75,000.00. Unable to post bail, Joseph was remanded to the John Bell Adult Correctional Facility pending his advice of rights hearing set for July 6, 2026, at the Superior Court.
