St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands – The St. Croix 911 Emergency Call Center received multiple calls reporting a male gunshot victim at Croixville Apartments on July 2, 2026, at approximately 2:15 p.m.
Emergency Medical Technicians confirmed the male was deceased at the scene. He was identified by next of kin as Anthony Hazelwood, 34. This case is an active investigation. The VIPD urges anyone with information regarding this shooting or any other crimes to call 911, the Criminal Investigation Bureau at 340-778-2211 or Crime Stoppers VI at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
