St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands – On March 28, 2025, at approximately 8:40 p.m., Special Operations Bureau officers where at Oswald Harris Court placing another individual under arrest in reference to an unrelated matter. While Officers were exiting the building with an arrestee, Mr. Curvin Thomas, who appeared to be intoxicated, attempted to obstruct the officers’ path by standing in the middle of the archway. Officers ordered Thomas to step back to which he ignored. Officers then placed Mr. Thomas under arrest and while being placed in handcuffs, he attempted to trip one of the officers by placing his legs between the officer’s legs. While being transported to the Alexander Farrelly Justice Complex Mr. Thomas threatened to kill the officers.
36-year-old Curvin Thomas was arrested and placed under arrest for Interfering with an Officer discharging his/her duties, Disobeying a Lawful Order, Disorderly Conduct and Aggravated Assault. His bail was set at $1,000.00.
