St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands – On March 27, 2025, while on mobile patrol, Officers of the Patrol Bureau were dispatched to Cool Out Bar in Estate Peter’s Rest for a trespassing incident. Upon arrival, the officers were greeted by an individual at the establishment who gave them a black satchel that contained a 9mm Smith & Wesson Pistol in it. He informed the officers that the pistol and satchel were the property of Ramon Gantier, who was found asleep under the pool table of the establishment.
The officers detained Mr. Gantier who was highly intoxicated at the time and secured him in a Police Department vehicle.
Ramon A. Gantier, Jr., age 25, was subsequently placed under arrest and charged with unauthorize possession of a firearm (9mm Smith & Wesson Pistol) and Simple Assault and Battery (DV). His bail was set at $25,000.00.
