St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands – The Virgin Islands Police Department’s Criminal Investigation Bureau is seeking the public’s assistance in gathering information related to the assault that took place at Sanchez Town Bovoni.
On June 14, 2025, at about 9:00 p.m., the Criminal Investigation Bureau was requested for an adult male who neck was slashed with a machete. While conducting an investigation, detectives were informed that the suspect operates a brown 4-door vehicle and goes by the name “Yardie” , however, he fled the scene prior to officers’ arrival. The victim was transported to the hospital for medical attention and was treated for his injuries.
