St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands – On Monday, June 22, 2026, at approximately 9:25 a.m., a concerned citizen reported to the 911 Emergency Call Center that there was a female in the Historic Danish Cemetery, Hospital Ground with blood around her body.
Law Enforcement units traveled to the scene and found an unresponsive black female in the cemetery with wounds on her body.
Emergency Medical Technicians who were present, concluded that the female did not have any vital signs.
Next of kin identified the female as 69-year-old Philomen Winston.
