
St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands – The Virgin Islands Police Department (VIPD) Criminal Investigation Bureau has apprehended 37-year-old Luis Amaro Jr., charging him with third-degree assault and related offenses. This arrest follows a complaint filed on May 3, 2026, alleging that Amaro Jr. physically assaulted a male victim, resulting in injuries.
Bail for Amaro Jr. has been set at $25,000.
