St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands – The Virgin Islands Police Department (VIPD) arrested 37-year-old Akeem Forbes in connection with a reported assault that occurred at Three Sons Gas Station.
On Saturday, July 4, 2026, at about 4:00 p.m., VIPD officers were dispatched to Three Sons Gas Station in regards to a physical fight.
Detectives from the Criminal Investigation Bureau were informed that a female who appeared to be visibly shaken and fearful, was physically assaulted by a male at the establishment.
The male suspect, later identified as Akeem Forbes, fled the scene before police arrived. He was later taken into custody and charged with simple assault, DV and disturbance of the peace, DV. No bail was set in this matter.
