
St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands – Officers responded to a report of a verbal disturbance on July 20, 2026, at approximately 10:41 p.m., which resulted in the arrest of 42-year-old Stedroy Blake.
As officers arrived on scene, they made contact with Blake, who appeared intoxicated and made threats to harm a female acquaintance and her child.
After officers attempted to de-escalate the matter, Blake ran back into the residence, where he was observed physically assaulting the victim. He was detained and later transported to the Wilbur H. Francis Command Police Station. Blake was advised of his Miranda Rights, booked, and charged with Simple Assault & Battery – Domestic Violence.
Stedroy Blake was remanded to the John A. Bell Adult Correctional Facility pending his Advice of Rights hearing.
