St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands – The Virgin Islands Police Department arrested 23-year-old Angel Rosa for Aggravated Rape First Degree, Assault First, Unlawful Sexual Contact First and Child Abuse.
On June 12, 2025, at around 5:00 p.m., the 911 Emergency Call Center received a call from the Juan F. Luis Hospital, regarding the sexual assault of a minor.
A detective from the Criminal Investigation Bureau investigation revealed that Angel Rosa sexually assaulted the minor victim. On July 31, 2026, an arrest warrant for Angel Rosa was signed by a Superior Court Judge.
On August 21, 2026, Angel Rosa was taken into custody. His bail was set at $150,000.00. Rosa was booked and transported to the John Bell Adult Correction Facility pending his Advice of Rights Hearing.
