St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands — On Saturday, October 31, 2026, at approximately 11:30 a.m., Officers were dispatched to a reported assault incident.
Upon arrival, responding officers met with the victim, who reported that 39-year-old Slybertrand Villaestiva sexually assaulted.
Later that same day, October 31, 2026, Slybertrand Villaestiva, 39 was detained and transported to the Richard Callwood Command where he was advised of his Constitutional Rights which he waived.
Villaestiva was charged with First Degree Rape DV, booked, processed and turned over to the Bureau of Corrections pending his Advice of Rights hearing. No bail was set in this matter due to the Domestic Violence Statue.
