St. John, Virgin Islands – On Saturday, July 18, 2026, at approximately 12:00 a.m., a female traveled to the residence of a former acquaintance and allegedly damaged property at the location.
The suspect was identified as 39-year-old, Gregoria Roderky Zapata Mateo. Mateo was transported to Richard Callwood Command where she was booked and processed. She was charged with Destruction of Property – DV with no bail set. Mateo was subsquently turned over to the Bureau of Corrections, where is being held without bail pending her advice of rights hearing.
