St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands – On June 10, 2026, at about 8:45 a.m., the 911 Emergency Call Center received a report of a domestic disturbance in progress at the Harbor View Housing Apartments.
Responding officers made contact with the victim, who reported that she had been strangled by Kenrick Duinkerk.
Kenrick Duinkerk, 34, was detained, advised of his Miranda Rights, and subsequently placed under arrest. He faces charges of Assault Second Degree DV, Simple Assault & Battery, and Disturbance of the Peace. No bail was set in this matter. Duinkerk was transported to the John Bell Correctional Facility pending his Advice of Rights Hearing.
