
St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands – On June 5, 2026, at approximately 8:57 p.m., members of the Virgin Islands Police Department’s Patrol Division arrested 82-year-old, Phillip Galloway and charged with possession of an unlicensed firearm and simple assault and battery-dv.
Galloway assaulted a female acquaintance and made verbal threats to harm her and a family member. It was later discovered that Galloway was in possession of an unlicensed firearm, in which he does not have a firearm license to possess any firearms in the United States or its territories.
Galloway’s bail was set at $50,000.00. Unable to post bail, he was transported to the John A. Bell Correctional Facility pending his advice of rights hearing.
