St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands – On Monday, March 30, 2026, at about 7:05 p.m., the 911 Emergency Call Center received alerts from the ShotSpotter Detection System of multiple rounds fired. Subsequent calls from citizens reported shots discharged, in addition to a man down in the vicinity of Gas for Less Gas Station in Estate Diamond.
Responding units observed a black male on the western side of the gas station lying on the ground bleeding from his body. Emergency Medical Technicians responded and transported the victim to the Juan F. Luis Hospital for treatment; however, the victim succumbed to his injuries. He was positively identified by next of kin as 41-year-old Emmett Bramble Jr.
