St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands – On Friday, November 28, 2025, an adult female entered the
Police Operations Building bleeding from her head and hands. The victim reported that while
jogging along the shoulder of the roadway within Estate La Grange, an unknown female
operating a white Mercedes-Benz had assaulted her with a bottle. Following the investigation,
Cleo A. Taylor was identified as the perpetrator who assaulted the victim.
On December 10, 2025, a warrant was signed by the Honorable Magistrate Judge of the
Superior Court U.S. Virgin Islands for Ms. Cleo A. Taylor’s arrest. Her bail is set at $100,000.00.
Thereafter, on Wednesday, December 11, 2025, members of the Virgin Islands Police
Department’s Patrol Division were assisted by members of the Criminal Investigation Bureau
and Special Operations Bureau to execute the arrest warrant on 39-year-old Cleo Taylor. The
units traveled to her residence and Taylor was detained without incident and transported to
the Police Operations Building, where she declined to be booked. She faces charges of
Attempted Murder in the First Degree, Assault in the First Degree, Assault in the Third Degree,
Simple Assault & Battery, and Disturbance of the Peace. Advice of Rights is scheduled for
Friday, December 12, 2025, at the Superior Court of the Virgin Islands in the district of St.
Croix.
