CIB Investigate Male Found Unresponsive on St. John

St. John, U.S. Virgin Islands – On Wednesday, November 26, 2025, at approximately 9:56 p.m., the 911 Emergency Call Center received a call from a concerned citizen, who stated that there was a male lying motionless on the ground, in the area of Concordia, St. John.

Patrol officers from the Leander Jurgen Command traveled to the area and located an unresponsive male who appeared to have sustained a gunshot wound to his head. Preliminary investigation revealed that the gunshot wound may have been self-inflicted.

Emergency Medical Technicians on the scene concluded that the male did not have any vital signs. The identification of the male is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
