St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands – Members of the Criminal Investigation Bureau and Special Operations Bureau executed a search warrant at on November 19, 2025, at approximately 5:23 a.m. at the home of 20-year-old Kaden Durand, regarding an ongoing investigation. During the execution of the search warrant, ammunition was found inside the house, and. Durand admitted that the ammunition was his. Due to not having a license to possess ammunition or a firearm in the Territory of the Virgin Islands, Durand was detained.
Kaden Durand was transported to the Wilbur H. Francis Command Police Station, where he was placed under arrest for possession of ammunition. His bail was set at $5,500.00; he was unable to post bail and was remanded to the Bureau of Corrections pending his Advice of Rights Hearing on November 20, 2025, at the Superior Court.
