Detectives Recover Firearm During Execution of Search Warrant on St. Croix

St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands – On October 27, 2025, at approximately 4:15 p.m., a report of a reckless endangerment in the first degree was reported at the Wilbur H. Francis Command Police Station, where the victims stated that Jamari Hendrickson pointed a firearm at them and that he fired several shots into the air while they were entering their vehicle. Investigation into this matter disclosed additional witnesses who stated that Hendrickson pointed a firearm at the victims and fired shots in the community.

During the investigation into the case a search warrant was signed by an Honorable Judge of the Superior Court on November 3, 2025, for the residence of Jamari Hendrickson. On November 12, 2025, the warrant was executed and yielded a firearm inside Hendrickson’s reidence. At the time of the search, Hendrickson was not present, however, he was notified and he turned himself in at the Wilbur H. Francis Command Police Station. Hendrickson, 25, was advised of his Miranda Rights, and he admitted that the firearm seized at his residence during the search was his. He was placed under arrest for Reckless Endangerment first & carrying of a firearm openly. He was booked, unable to post his $80,000.00 bail and was remanded to the John Bell Correctional Facility pending his Advice of Rights Hearing set for November 13, 2025, at the Superior Court.
