
St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands – On November 9, 2025, at approximately 11:02 a.m., the 911 Emergency Call Center received a report of a Domestic Disturbance in the Concordia Manor apartments. The female disclosed to the dispatcher that K’Jahni A. Rivera fired a shot at her and her minor children.
A Detective from the Criminal Investigation Bureau was assigned to investigate this matter. Contact was made with the victim and the minor children to include residents in the area who indicated that the victim attempted to get away from Rivera, by getting into her vehicle; that Rivera became enraged and fired a shot at her and her children while they entered her vehicle. A search of the area was conducted in an attempt to apprehend Rivera with negative results. Therefore, an all-points bulletin was aired via the 911 Emergency Call Center and social media platforms to aid in the apprehension of Rivera.
On November 10, 2025, at approximately 4:20 p.m., 23-year-old K’Jahni A. Rivera turned himself into Police at the Wilbur H. Francis Command Police Station where he was placed under arrest for Attempted Murder in the First Degree. Rivera was booked, and no bail was set in this matter. He was subsequently transported to the John Bell Correctional Facility pending his Advice of Rights Hearing set for November 12, 2025, at the Superior Court.
