Findings in Executed Search Warrant Led to Arrest of Two on St. Croix

St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands – On August 11, 2025, at approximately 5:00 p.m., concerned citizens reported to the V.I.P.D. that they had observed Raheem Louis and two other male associates entering and exiting his residence while armed with multiple firearms. Detectives of the Criminal Investigation Bureau were assigned to investigate the complaint.

On August 20, 2025, the Criminal Investigation Bureau and Special Operation Bureau executed a search warrant where a firearm, ammunition and magazine were recovered. As a result, Raheem Louis, 33, and Yomariez Davis, 18, were arrested. Both were advised of their Miranda Rights, booked and unable to post bail set at $50,000.00. Louis and Davis were both charged with Unauthorized possession of a firearm, and Possession of sale of ammunition. They were transported to the John Bell Golden Grove Adult Correctional Facility where they were remanded pending their Advice of Rights Hearing on Thursday, August 21, 2025, at the Superior Court.
