St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands – The Virgin Islands Police Department advises the community of the parking and traffic restrictions that will be in effect for the Christiansted Restaurant and Retail Association’s Jump-Up Summer Edition which will be held on Friday, July 11, 2025, from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
The restrictions are as follows:
- NO PARKING will be allowed on King Street from the Florence Williams Library to the corner of King Street and Church Street (Coffee Shop).
- NO PARKING will be allowed on Queen Cross Street from the corner of Company Street and Queen Cross Street (Riddims) to the Caravelle Casino.
- NO PARKING will be allowed on Company Street from the corner of Church Street (Sonya’s Jewelry) up to the corner of Company Street and Queen Cross Street (Riddims).
- NO PARKING will be allowed on King Street in front of the Scale House towards Hospital Street (Fort).
- NO TRAFFIC will be allowed eastbound on King Street from the Florence Williams Library from 4:00 p.m. This area will be blocked off until the event is over so that the vendors can safely set up.
- NO TRAFFIC will be allowed westbound from Hospital Street onto Company Street from 4:00 p.m. into Christiansted town. All westbound traffic from Hospital Street will be rerouted onto Queen Street. All traffic coming from the East End area can utilize the Bypass to avoid the roadblocks from 4:00 p.m. to midnight.
All parking restrictions will be enforced from 4:00 p.m. SHARP.
All vehicles parked in the restricted parking areas will be ticketed and towed at the owner’s expense. The Virgin Islands Police Department appreciates everyone’s cooperation during the Jump Up event.
