St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands — On February 22, 2025, the Domestic Violence Unit was notified of a Simple Assault (DV) that occurred in the area of Estate Smith Bay.
The victim, an adult female, stated that on Saturday, February 22, 2025, at about 3:00 a.m., Mr. Raheim George struck her face several times with his head, causing her to sustain a blackened eye.
On February 22, 2025, at approximately 3:00 p.m., 51-year-old Raheim George was apprehended and transported to the Criminal Investigation Bureau. George provided a statement but denied the allegations; therefore, he was placed under arrest for simple assault-DV and aggravated assault and battery-DV. He was booked and turned over to the Bureau of Corrections pending his Advice of Rights Hearing scheduled for Monday, February 24, 2025.
