Woman Arrested for Burglary in Domestic Disturbance

KAMAITAWENE AIJOMA

St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands — On May 31, 2026, at approximately 2:31 p.m., officers responded to Coki Point Beach in reference to a report of a female being stabbed or slashed in the face during an altercation. On June 1, 2026, Virgin Islands Police Department (VIPD) detectives made contact with the victim who positively identified the suspect as Kamaitawene Aijoma. Aijoma, 41, was later interviewed and placed under arrest for Assault Third and Simple Assault. Her bail was set at $25,000.00.
