VIPD Joins Senators in Territory Wide Gun Buy Back Initiative

St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands – On Saturday, March 8, 2025, the Virgin Islands Police Department, in conjunction with the Offices of Senators Dwayne DeGraff and Franklin Johnson, conducted its Cash-For-Guns, gun buy back initiative program on the island of St. Croix at the St. Croix Agriculture Fair Grounds from 8:30 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.

The St. Croix community turned in 27 firearms which included 4 shotguns. Pay outs were also given for ammunition (hundreds of rounds), a pellet-gun and a flare gun.
