St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands – Members of the Criminal Investigation Bureau (CIB) are investigating a robbery that occurred on Saturday, September 19, 2026, at approximately 3:34 a.m. in the area of Subbase.
While Officers patrolled Subbase, they made contact with two female victims, who stated that they had been attacked by two males dressed entirely in black and wore masks that covered their faces. The victims stated that the assailants approached them and demanded that they hand over their belongings before forcibly taking their jewelry and a bag containing personal effects. One victim was struck in the head with a firearm, while the other was pushed to the ground.
The suspects were described as black men, one having dreadlocks.
