On Friday, May 9, 2025, at approximately 11:52 a.m., while in the vicinity of the Reinholdt Jackson Sports Complex (Whim Ball Park), the Rapid Intervention Team (R.I.T.) members conducted a traffic stop on a black BMW 3 Series that did not have a license plate.

Ervin Noel Jr. was subsequently transported to the Police Operations Building where he informed detectives from the Criminal Investigation Bureau that the firearm recovered from under the front passenger seat belonged to him.
As a result, Ervin Noel Jr.,20, was arrested for Reckless Endangerment in the First Degree based on the existing arrest warrant, with bail set at $100,000.00. He faced additional charges for carrying a firearm, whether openly or concealed, and for unauthorized possession of ammunition, with bail for these charges set at $50,000.00, as specified in the chart.
