VIPD Apprehend Suspect in Car Theft Case on St. Thomas

JANIJAH BENJAMIN

St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands – On December 4, 2025, the Virgin Islands Police Department (VIPD) successfully apprehended 18-year-old Janijah Benjamin, who was taken into custody in connection with an investigation regarding stolen vehicles. Benjamin was quickly located and captured through coordinated efforts by the responding officers. He now faces charges of Unauthorized Use of a Vehicle, Grand Larceny and Auto Collision. His bail was set at $25,000.00.
