Crime Unit in St. Thomas. She was charged with Grand Larceny and Appropriating Lost
Property, booked and processed, and bail was set at $10,000.
Somersall was turned over to the custody of the Bureau of Corrections pending her Advice of
Rights hearing.
The Virgin Islands Police Department remains committed to investigating allegations of
criminal conduct and holding individuals accountable under the law, regardless of their
position or former affiliation with the Department.
As this matter proceeds through the judicial system, the charges against Somersall remain
