St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands – On Friday, March 20, 2026, at 12:30 a.m., 911 received a call from a citizen who reported that the owner of Veggie Plus and her boyfriend were fighting inside the business.
Upon the Officer’s arrival, contact was made with the victim who stated that her boyfriend, Vincent Wiltshire Jr. came into the business and started harassing her about sleeping with other men. She stated that as the patrons left the bar and her niece went outside to throw out the trash, Wiltshire Jr. started pushing her to leave with him and he slapped and punched her in her face causing injuries. She further stated that she hugged Wiltshire Jr. to get him to stop assaulting her and she bit him on his upper lip area and as her niece came back inside, she yelled for her to call the police.
Officers were able to review the camera footage from the business of the incident and officers made contact with Wiltshire Jr. at Schneider Regional Medical Center where he had traveled to be treated for the injury to his upper lip. Vincent Wiltshire Jr. was advised of his Constitutional Rights and was placed under arrest for Simple Assault DV and Disturbance of the Peace DV and transported to the Richard Callwood Command. He was subsequently turned over to the Bureau of Corrections pending his Advised of Rights hearing.
