St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands – Motorists are advised of a temporary road closure in Christiansted town on Saturday, April 4, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., due to a wedding ceremony at Ten Sleepless Knights Park (Old Limpricht Park).
During this time, King Street will be closed from the intersection of King Street and Prince Street (near Zeny’s Restaurant/Credit Union) to the intersection of King Street and King Cross Street (near the Florence Williams Library).
All eastbound traffic will be rerouted onto Prince Street, traveling toward the Watergut Housing Community and the Seaplane Terminal to access Christiansted. Additionally, traffic traveling from Strand Lane through the parking lot area between the Credit Union and Hillary’s Hair Salon will not be permitted to enter King Street.
No parking will be allowed on King Street between the intersection of King Street and Prince Street and the intersection of King Street and King Cross Street.
Vehicles found parked in the restricted areas during the closure period will be ticketed and towed at the owner’s expense.
Motorists are encouraged to plan alternate routes and to comply with directions from VIPD Officers.
