
St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands – On August 18, 2025, the Economic Crime Unit initiated an investigation into a reported case of forgery. Fort Knoxx Security reported that they contracted Daliqua Moses to provide security for the St. John carnival festivities. The company also reported that Ms. Moses was paid with a check for $192.00. An investigation into the complaint revealed that Moses altered the check provided by Fort Knoxx Security and negotiated it at a local bank, cashing over $2,000.00. In addition to negotiating an altered check, she filed a fraudulent wage claim with the Virgin Islands Labor Department against the company for wages owed.
On October 29, 2025, the Special Operations Officers conducted a traffic stop, and 27-year-old. Daliqua Moses was taken into custody by the Economic Crime Unit. Moses was charged with forgery, uttering or passing forged or counterfeit documents, making and passing fictitious bills, and grand larceny.
Based on the incident, Daliqua Moses’ bail was set at $250,000.00. She was transported to the Richard N. Callwood Command, where she was booked and processed. She was remanded to the Bureau of Corrections pending an Advice of Rights hearing.
