ALLEN SPRINGETTE

St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands – On Friday, October 31, 2025, at about 4:20 a.m., the 911 Emergency Call Center dispatched a Patrol Officer to McDonald’s Restaurant in Lockhart Garden regarding a damaged window.

The responding Officer made contact with a Security Guard employed by Genesis Security who stated that upon his arrival he observed the glass window on the northern side of the building was shattered. The Security Guard stated that the suspect was not inside the restaurant at the time of his inspection. He said that the suspect, Allen Springette, was observed via security camera surveillance, breaking the glass with a rock, entering the business, sweeping the floor with a broom, exiting the business through the same broken window and leaving the area.

The Officer did not make contact with the suspect upon his initial arrival on scene and was later called back to Lockhart Garden where contact was made with the suspect who was sleeping on the ground in front of the Foot Locker store.

Mr. Springette was advised of his constitutional rights, placed under arrest and transported to Zone A, Richard Callwood Command, where he was charged with Destruction of Property and Unlawful Entry. He was booked and processed. He was unable to post bail of $25,000.00 and was turned over to the Bureau of Corrections pending his Advice of Rights hearing.
