St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands – On Saturday, November 1, 2025, at about 12:59 p.m., Patrol Officers were dispatched to a residence to provide police assistance. Upon their arrival at the residence, they met with the victim who stated that on Friday, October 31, 2025, at about 6:00 p.m., Nia Cruz arrived at the residence, though there is a Reciprocal Restraining Order currently in place. Cruz is not allowed to be within 1,000 feet of the victim or the victim’s home. The victim stated that on Saturday, November 1, 2025, Cruz showed up again to the residence, which resulted in his call for police assistance.
On Wednesday, November 5, 2025, Patrol Officers made contact with 37-year-old, Nia Cruz, and she was arrested for Contempt of Court (DV).
