St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands – The Virgin Islands Police Department wishes to inform the public that due to the closure of the St. Thomas Records Bureau for the carnival festivities, the St. Croix Records Bureau will not be conducting any criminal background checks until Monday, May 5, 2025. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
The Firearms and Records Bureau on St. Croix will continue its normal hours for fingerprinting and obtaining police reports, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., and will be closed on Friday, May 2, 2025. Normal hours of operation will resume on Monday, May 5, 2025, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
