St. Croix Man Faces Domestic Violence Charges After Reported Assault

St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands – On July 26, 2025, at approximately 4:41 a.m., an adult female walked into the Ancilmo D. Marshall Command Police Station to request police assistance with Travis Everett. The matter was investigated by a Detective of the Domestic Violence Unit.

The female reported that she and Everett got into a verbal disagreement and that Everett strangled her, causing her airway to be restricted on two separate occasions during the argument.

On July 26, 2025, 45-year-old, Travis Everett was placed under arrest for Assault in the Second Degree, an act of Domestic Violence. He was booked and no bail was set in this matter, therefore, he was remanded to the care and custody of the John Bell Correctional Facility pending his Advice of Rights Hearing set for July 28, 2025, at 9:00 a.m., at the Superior Court.
