
St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands – On November 2, 2025, at approximately 1:11 p.m., officers from the Virgin Islands Police Department’s Patrol Division arrested Pedro Juan Figueroa on charges of Simple Assault and Battery, Domestic Violence, and Disturbance of the Peace due to an altercation involving his girlfriend. The incident occurred after the victim requested that Figueroa turn off the air conditioner, which led to him physically assaulting her and willfully damaging two televisions and a fan before departing the residence. The victim sustained bruising to her left knee as a result of the physical altercation. Due to the nature of the domestic violence charges, no bail was set, and 34-year-old Pedro Juan Figueroa was remanded to the John A. Bell Adult Correctional Facility, pending his Advice of Rights hearing.
