St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands – The Criminal Investigation Bureau was requested to travel to the Ancilmo Marshall Command in reference to a domestic violence incident at approximately 5:31 p.m. on July 14, 2025. Responding Detectives made contact with an adult female victim who reported, she was physically assaulted by an adult male.
On July 15, 2025, at approximately 8:33 a.m., 37-year-old Craig James was arrested by the Criminal Investigation Bureau, Domestic Violence unit and was advised of his Miranda Rights. James faces charges of Assault in the Second Degree, Simple Assault and Battery, and Assault Third. He was booked and no bail was set as per the Domestic Violence Law, he was transported to the John A. Bell, Golden Grove Adult Correctional Facility where he was remanded pending his Advice of Rights Hearing on Tuesday July 16, 2025, at the Superior Court.
