St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands – The Virgin Islands Police Department’s Patrol Division arrested 43-year-old Mr. John Allen, on January 2, 2026, at approximately 1:21 p.m. He was charged with multiple offenses, including third-degree burglary, destruction of property, and domestic violence.
The arrest occurred after Allen admitted to forcibly opening the doors to the office, damaging the locking mechanisms in the process. He entered a prohibited area to access items inside a storage cabinet that he was not allowed to possess while on the compound.
Following his arrest, John Allen was booked and processed. No bail was set due to the nature of the case being classified as domestic violence. Consequently, he was remanded to the John A. Bell Correctional Facility, pending his Advise of Rights hearing.
