St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands – On Friday, April 25, 2025, at approximately 8:14 p.m., a Patrol Bureau Officer was traveling westbound to a call for service on the Queen Mary Highway when they encountered an auto collision in the vicinity of Amigo’s Service Station.
Upon stopping and interviewing both motorists, Mr. Alfred Oscar responded to the Patrol Officer, with a slurred speech while holding on to his vehicle and indicated that he had been drinking.
A Field Sobriety Test was conducted, which he failed, and 77-year-old Alfred Oscar was subsequently placed under arrest for Driving Under the Influence (DUI). He provided his driver’s license in lieu of bail.
