St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands – A complainant was present at the Wilbur H. Francis Police Station on Sunday, January 4, 2026, at about 3:25 p.m., to file a complaint in reference to Francisco Cruz-Santiago destroying his property.
Cruz-Santiago did admit to destroying the victim’s storage room, the pump room, and the tool shed. He was transported to Juan F. Luis Hospital for treatment and later discharged.
On Sunday, January 11, 2026, Patrol Officers arrested 39-year-old Francisco Cruz-Santiago without incident. He was transported to the Wilbur H. Francis Police Station where he was advised of his Miranda Warnings and arrested for Destruction to Other’s Property (DV) and Disturbance of the Peace. Francisco Cruz-Santiago was transported to the John A. Bell Adult Correctional Facility where he was remanded, pending his Advice of Rights Hearing.
