MAN ARRESTED AS SUSPECT IN ARMED ROBBERY CASE

St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands- The Virgin Islands Police Department’s Criminal Investigation
Bureau is seeking the public’s assistance in gathering information related to a robbery.

On Friday, April 18, 2025, at approximately 08:00 a.m., The Criminal Investigation Bureau
along with the help of the VIPD Patrol Division apprehended Mr. Benjamin Jackson. He was
positively identified by the victim who called 911 and pointed him out as the individual who
robbed him at gun point. The officers transported him to the Criminal Investigation Bureau
where he was advised of his rights and placed under arrest.

The VIPD is urging anyone with information about the incident to contact the Investigation
Bureau at 340-774-2211 extensions 5553, 5554, 5555, or 5556, Emergency services by dialing
911, Crime Stoppers V.I. at (800) 222-TIPS or Directly to the Chief’s Office at 340-715-5546 or
the Commissioner’s Office at 340-715-5506.

The VIPD assures the public that all tips are confidential, and contributors can remain
anonymous.
