St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands – On Sunday, December 7, 2025, at approximately 10:47 p.m., the Shot Spotter Detection System detected shots fired in the Hospital Ground area.
Patrol Units from the Richard N. Callwood Command traveled and discovered a black male lying in the roadway. The male appeared to have sustained multiple gunshot wounds to his body. He was transported to Schneider Regional Medical Center via ambulance, where he subsequently succumbed to his injuries.
The identity of the male is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
