
St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands – On Thursday, November 27, 2025, at about 7:44 p.m., detectives of the Criminal Investigation Unit/Domestic Violence Unit were dispatched to the Roy Lester Schneider Hospital after a male citizen reported that he had been assaulted by Ms. Janine Crispin. The victim stated that while he was giving Crispin a ride upon her request, an argument ensued between the both of them. When they arrived at the destination, Crispin struck him in the face with a Corona glass bottle. The victim went on to state that Ms. Crispin then exited the vehicle and fled the area on foot. The victim concluded by stating that due to the extent of his injuries he traveled to the Roy Lester Schneider Medical Center for medical treatment.
On Thursday, December 4, 2025, at approximately 10:15 a.m., 42-year-old Janine Crispin was present at the Domestic Violence Unit. She was advised of her rights and provided a statement. Crispin was booked, processed and turned over to the Bureau of Corrections pending her Advise of Rights hearing. She faces charges of Assault Third-DV, Simple Assault-DV and Disturbance of the Peace-DV.
