St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands – On November 21, 2025, at around 3:34 a.m., the 911 Emergency Call Center received a call from the victim, who reported that she was assaulted and that the suspect had struck her vehicle before leaving the scene.
A detective from the Criminal Investigation Bureau was assigned to this case. Investigation revealed that during an argument, the suspect physically assaulted the victim, causing visible injuries. The suspect also struck the victim’s vehicle several times with an object and collided her vehicle with the victim’s vehicle.
Shania Frederick was present at the Wilbur Francis Command Police Station, where she agreed to provide a statement. Shania Frederick,19, was placed under arrest for Assault Second DV, Assault Third, Simple assault and battery, and Destruction to property. No bail was set in this matter until seen by a Judge. Frederick was remanded to the John Bell Correctional Facility, pending her Advice of Rights Hearing on November 24, 2025, at the Superior Court.
