St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands – The 911 Emergency Call Center received a call on Monday, November 17, 2025, at about 12:11 p.m., from a concerned citizen who reported that a male was lying in the bushes and that he appeared to be unresponsive in Castle Burke, Frederiksted.
Emergency Medical Technicians were on scene and pronounced the male dead. He sustained multiple gunshot wounds to his upper body.
The deceased was identified by his next of kin as 33-year-old, Malik Anthony Francis.
