

St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands – The Virgin Islands Police Department (VIPD) announces the arrest of 21-year-old Shane Forbes and 23-year-old Elroy Brown III in relation to a violent incident that occurred on October 6, 2025, in the area of Four Winds Plaza. Mr. Forbes and Brown are facing charges including illegal possession of a firearm, using a firearm during a crime of violence, reckless endangerment, and several additional felony charges. Bail was set at $100,000.00 for both men.
The incident unfolded after 1:00 a.m. when multiple males engaged in a shootout that resulted in significant damage to several vehicles in the area. There were no reported injuries; however, the VIPD recognizes the gravity of such incidents and is committed to ensuring public safety.
The case remains under active investigation, and the VIPD is diligently working to apprehend all individuals involved in this reckless act of violence.
