Criminal Investigation Bureau Investigates a Discharging of Shots Incident at Four Winds

St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands – The Virgin Islands Police Department’s Criminal
Investigation Bureau is seeking the public’s assistance in gathering information related to an
assault that took place in the area of Four Winds Plaza.

On October 26, 2025, at about 3:00 p.m., the Criminal Investigation Bureau responded to
Four Winds Plaza regarding reports of a male who fired a single shot from a handgun. Upon
investigators’ arrival the male had fled the scene. There were no reported injuries.

The VIPD is urging anyone with information about the incident to contact the Investigation
Bureau at 340-774-2211 extensions 5553, 5554, 5555, or 5556, 911, Crime Stoppers V.I. at
1-800-222-8477(TIPS) or Directly to the Chief’s Office at 340-715-5546 or the
Commissioner’s Office at 340-715-5506.

The VIPD assures the public that all tips will be kept confidential, and contributors can
remain anonymous.
