
St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands – An adult male walked into the Ancilmo Marshall Command Police Station on Friday, June 6, 2025, at approximately 6:49 p.m. to report a dispute involving Ms. Shakeria Tramel.
The complainant stated that after an argument at the Altoona Lagoon Beach, Ms. Tramel hit him on the head with a half-frozen water bottle while he drove, and she damaged the dashboard to his vehicle.
While the officer investigated the matter, Tramel was brought into the station for questioning. After being informed of her Miranda rights, she initially declined to speak however later agreed to share her account, claiming she did not hit the complainant. Shakeria Tramel, 36, was arrested for Destruction of Property/Domestic Violence and Simple Assault/Domestic Violence.
Bail was set due to the domestic violence charges. Ms. Tramel is currently being held at John A. Bell Correction Facility, awaiting an Advise of Rights hearing on June 9, 2025, at 9:00 a.m. in Kingshill Superior Court.
